So I haven't had much to report. The club is the same, and Detective Jones (that's the right name, I looked it up) hasn't talked to me other than to say I'm not a suspect. Apparently I'm too small to have been able to take down a man that size.
Like I said, this life has its perks.
So anyway, I left them another body. Not because I was feeling particularly antsy or anything. I was just bored and wanted an excuse to look into things.
Jonesie came by to ask if I knew the victim. I didn't, other than that he was preparing to spike a college student's drink. I asked her if they were getting anywhere, and she replied that the case was weird.
I have to give her some credit, she's pretty smart. I've done my best not to leave any connections, but she's managed to link a lot of the bodies. At least in theory. Anemone didn't help with cleanup on the last two, so our detective noted that there was more blood than could have possibly come from one person at both scenes.
She thinks there's more bodies. I'm starting to think this will be more fun than I expected.

Starting the New Year with a Bang
Okay, when I took that assignment from Anemone, I didn't realize how much of a pain in the ass it would be.
I took advantage of all the New Year parties and took some guy that was feeling up a girl half his age. And then I called it in.
I'm so glad I never leave witnesses because it is a fuckton of work. I had to come up with a story and then recount it to like ten different people, and that was before the fancy investigator or detective or whatever came in. It's really ridiculous.
I told them my name was Elizabeth. I was at the party, came out for some fresh air, and found the guy. Simple, right? Apparently not. I had to go into who I was there with (no one), if I knew the guy (not at all), and all sorts of other bullshit.
I was at the police station until like 8 the next morning.
Anyway, the detective that's looking into it is a woman named Phoebe Jones or Smith or something generic like that. I guess she's fairly attractive if you're into the angry power suit thing.
